2010-2011 NESTING SEASON

Nov 9 One of the adult Bald Eagles in on the new nest, but as you can
see from this image, it is very difficult to see it with all the leaves. The eye of
the eagle is directly in the center of the image.

Nov 8 This is the NEW site of the Llano Bald Eagle Nest. It appears they
will not be using the old nest but are in the process of building a new one just to the
west of the old nest. It is not possible to see the nest now with all the leaves.
There is an eagle on the nest, its beak exactly in the center of the photo above.

Oct 25 There seems to be no activity at the old nest site. Eagles were spotted
west of this area.

The nest is still in good shape for the start of the 8th nesting season at this site near Llano.
The Bald Eagles have been spotted in the area.
