Immature eagle showed up at the nest area today, Jan 12
and created quite a stir before he was finally chased off
by the male adult from the nest. Here's how the action went:

Jan 12 Immature eagle lands in tree close to nest. The females in the nest are not happy and the squawking is frantic.

The intruder is on the far right. One of the females chases the intruder, at times coming close
to the nest. The intruder is higher in the air.

Back and forth they go in the air. Adult female is on the right, the immature on the left.

Circling around, the intruder is not ready to leave... until the male adult comes in.
It took a while for the male to answer the calls
of the females, and by the time he arrived, his tongue
was hanging out.

Once the male chased the immature away, he The female even left the nest and left the male
