March 16 The adult bald eagle brings a fish to the nest.

March 16 One of the eaglets seems to still be having
trouble with its landings. It managed to work its way
on top of the stump.

March 16 Looking proud once on top.

March 12 Take-off.

March 12 We did not see both eaglets out of the nest at the same
time.

March 12 The adult brings a large fish to the nest while one eaglet
is out. It soon came back for the food.
March 11 With a cold front passing through bringing rain, neither
the eaglet that fledged yesterday nor the other eaglet seemed inclined
to fly. Though the adults brought food to the nest several times, the
eaglets both remained in the nest until noon.

March 10 One of the eaglets fledged today.

March 10 Eaglet in flight.

March 9 As of 1:45 PM neither eaglet had fledged.

The first set of photos was taken early in the morning with a
cloud cover, but this tug-of-war by the eagles with a fish was just too good
to pass up. March 4

The eaglet on the left won and ate a lot of the fish before the one
on the right finally managed to get a little of it.

One of the adult eagles brought an American Coot to the nest.
March 4

Shortly thereafter the other adult brought another Coot to the nest.

March 4 One of the adults leaves the nest as the eaglets work on
eating both Coots.

March 4 The photo is posted to show the development of the
eaglets. It has not yet fledged but is willing to get out on a limb
near the nest.

March 4 The photo is also posted to show the progression of the
wing development of the eaglets. It was able to maintain its height
for several seconds just over the nest. Now at 10 weeks, or
perhaps a little older, it will not be long before they fledge.

Feb 25 Eaglets.

Feb 25 There seems to be more height in the eaglets' practice flights now
and with the wind just right, just a little hovering. The eaglet on the
left has its protective cover over its eyes to avoid being hit by the
other's wings.
